"Photography, fortunately,
to me has not only been a profession but also a contact between people
-- to understand human nature and record, if possible, the best in each
individual"
-- Nickolas Muray
I never forget that the most important
person is in front of the camera, not behind it. I do my very best to
make my clients comfortable and at ease. I base the poses created by the
personality of my subjects, and what they're willing (or not willing)
to do. Most of all, I try to make it fun for everyone. Remember, a true,
genuine smile just can't be faked.
I enjoy taking the time to sit with
clients and try to get to know them before I ever pick up my camera. I
not only want to know what kinds of photos they're expecting, but how
they perceive themselves looking in the shots. I try to schedule a relaxed
session, without hurrying through things. And if you have an unusual idea
for a pose, I'm all ears.
